Frank Albert aka The Czech Stig
About Me
In 2011 I realized a boyhood dream of racing a historic sports car thanks to the urging of my then fiancée Jennifer. I joined Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing, completed competition school, bought a race car, a 1967 Sunbeam Alpine and my first race was the first RAKC. After all the time dreaming, I was in a race club and driving my own race car, and making a difference for kids suffering with cancer. Needless to say, RAKC holds a special place in my heart. I've had the honor and privilege to serve as Race Chairman 3 times, including the year I was club President, when Professional Racecar Driver Paul Gerrard who was "The Stig" on the American Top Gear show, signed my car's door "To the Czech Stig," and thus a persona-in-jest was born. I've worked hard and had support from many, many friends to raise some good amounts for the Morgan Adams Foundation and the excellent work it support. This year I have a fundraising goal of $5,000 and in fact hope to beat that! I invite your support to help MAF help even more kids this year. Please know that in the prior 11 years, Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing has raised almost $1,600,000. I also invite you to come out to the race on July 29 & 30th at High Plains Raceway - you can even get a ticket to ride and be a passenger in one of the race cars, driving at speed on the track at lunch time!! Humans age 8 and up can ride 🙂 Thank you for your support, for helping me toward my goal of $5,000. Thank you! Frank Albert, "The Czech Stig" 1967 MGB GT, Red #05
