RMVR’s 16th Annual Race Against Kids’ Cancer!
Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing is pleased to partner with The Morgan Adams Foundation to present the 16th Annual Race Against Kids’ Cancer (RAKC) at High Plains Raceway where these wonderful cars of all years and vintages are invited to gather to celebrate this class. Awards and prizes are given to a variety of different cars and winners each year. Come watch or race with RMVR September 26-27, 2026.
Best of all, the Race Against Kids’ Cancer benefits The Morgan Adams Foundation, a local organization that funds pediatric cancer research to help kids with cancer get the treatment they deserve. With nearly $12 million in pediatric cancer research projects funded so far, The Morgan Adams Foundation knows exactly how to maximize your donations to improve survival rates, reduce recovery times, and provide a better quality of life for children with cancer.

“The Dance”
This video, created by RMVR’s Steve Urbano and featuring long-time member and Formula Ford driver, Bob Alder, does a wonderful job explaining why many of us in RMVR race vintage race cars!
Interview with Robb Holland
RAKC Race Chair, Kelly Nichols, interviews Robb Holland who tells his journey to become a professional race car driver and what The Morgan Adams Foundation and the Race Against Kids’ Cancer event mean to him.
RAKC Event Activities
Enjoy an exhilarating 3-lap track ride in a race or exotic car during the lunchtime break on Saturday and Sunday!
The Grid Bids for Kids is a frivolous, fun, goofy way to shake free a few more donations for pediatric cancer research. We are using the Grid Bids for Kids as a creative way to assign the starting grid positions for each of the run groups for Saturday’s Fun’d Race. By making a tax-deductible donation to The Morgan Adams Foundation, you can move a driver up or down the grid, move yourself to the pole, or give someone a gift by placing them on the pole position.
Every year, amazing young women (and men) participate in the RAKC fundrasing effort by being our “Grid Volunteers”. They are available for photos and providing much appreciated unbrella shade for drivers waiting in their cars before the start of arace!
Saturday night, as soon as the track goes cold, we celebrate! The fun includes dinner, rides in the Fun Bus, and a live band!
How about an exhilarating tour of the race track in the RAKC Fun Bus! Where else can you do that?
